Teens seem to love St. Peter's and St. Peter's loves its teens!  From Sunday mornings to special events, check out the information below to learn about our programs and how you can join in.

 

  

Middle and High School Students 

We encourage all our Middle School and High School students to participate in Sunday worship each week.  Students have the opportunity to serve as acolytes, ushers, greeters, eucharistic ministers, readers, musicians  and tech assistants.  For more information for how to get tinvolved please contact Andy Romano at aromano66@hotmail.com

 

Life Together (Formally Youth Group)

Life Together  is where fun, deepening of relationships and formation takes place for our students in middle school and high school.  Life together will meet on Sunday afternoons at 4 pm in the fall of 2016  throughout the school year. Life together begins with games, check-in and small group formation.  Small groups are divide by age: 6-8th grade, 9-10th  grade confirmation prep small group and 11-12th grade young adults group.   Each Life together session ends with youth led worship.It is our hope that Life Together is a fun, safe space where students are accepted for the amazing people God created them to be and a place where they can deepen their relationship with Jesus and one another.

Youth Group begins September 17th, 2016  at 4 pm in the Parish Hall.

 

Confirmation Classes

A 1 year program designed as part of our regular Sunday Life together youth offerings,is a place to discover if you are ready to make an Adult committment to the promises that were made at Baptism or just learn more about the Way of Jesus in the Episcopal tradition.  Classes meet on Sunday afternoons at 4 pm followed by  a simple youth Led Eucharist at 530 pm in the chapel. Young Adult Bible Study

Weekly Bible Study focusing  on the challenges of young adulthood takes place on Thursday Afternoons during the school year at 245.This bible study  lasts for 1 hour each Thursday during the school year.  This study is open to all high school students regardless of denomination.  For more information contact ann@saintpetersnet.org

Mission Trips

Youth Mission_Trip_1The youth group has a history of mission trips around the world.  Most recently, they have traveled to Raleigh , North Carolina.  Youth Mission_Trip_2The youth group raises funds throughout the year to support these trips.

 

 

Service projects

Throughout the year students are invited to particpate in various service projects as well as Diocesan events designed especially for middle andh high School students.   These events will be posted in the Student Newsletter.
