Music

Music ministry at St. Peter’s is a vital part of our worship experience. Our early service is enhanced with traditional hymns accompanied on the organ. Our later, family service, is filled with contemporary music led by the choir on piano.

Cherubs Music

Free music class open to the community for children ages 4-6. Meets weekly throughout the school year! The Cherubs Program follows a familiar pattern; children attend a weekly ensemble rehearsal and periodically play their songs for the congregation and community. Cherubs classes include multiple varied activities that involve children with movement and games to keep younger children engaged in the learning process.

Kyra Wiley, Teacher of Cherubs Music

Kyra has a bachelors in Elementary Education from Towson University, and is an assistant teacher at the Saint Peter's Nursery School as well as the teacher for Cherubs Music. Her music background began in church choir, and she is greatful for the opportunity to reflect that back by engaging children in church life through music, as was done for her when she was young!

Summer Music Camp Open to middle and high school aged students, this day camp offers students a chance to practice and learn more about their chosen instrument. Campers perform a concert open to the community at the conclusion of the camp!

This year's program has concluded, but look for it next Summer June 18-22, 2018.
